ALIUM is a multifaceted art gallery that blurs the lines between art, design and interiors. Based next to Frederiksberg City Hall in an old historic building, ALIUM Gallery showcases a curated selection of rotating original artworks and unique objects.
On behalf of ALIUM, who sell Anne Nowak’s works as part of their curated collection, I visited Anne Nowak in her studio on Frederiksberg Allé.
Anne Nowak is ambitious. Her way of thinking is innovative, and the distance between idea and execution is short - Anne makes things happen. She experiments and is not afraid of failing. I admire her creative nerve, and her aesthetics approach to political commentary through her art.

Driven by a fascination of the outer hemisphere, Anne Nowak invites the viewer on a mystical journey reminiscent of the Northern light, the breathtaking illuminations of the aurora borealis. Recognized for her use of strong, dusky colors, gradient and scale, Anne Nowak’s artistic expression is beautifully abstract yet carefully composed and decisive.
